Aus den 250 Komponistinnen habe ich gemeinsam mit dem Autoren 20 ausgesucht, um diese zu portraitieren. Dabei habe ich meinen Fokus auf die Diversität gerichtet und bewusst einige Künstlerinnen augesucht, die queer, trans oder People of Color sind, da nicht-weiße, nicht-westliche und auch nicht-cis-heteronormative Stimmen besonders in der Welt der klassischen Musik unterrepräsentiert sind.

From the 250 female composers, I selected 20 together with the author to portray them. I focused on diversity and consciously sought out some artists who are queer, trans or people of color, as non-white, non-Western and non-cis-heteronormative voices are underrepresented, especially in the world of classical music.
